Located on the Ionian coast of the province of Reggio Calabria is a promontory with windswept cliffs and rocks and a sea forming suggestive natural sculptures. The beaches resemble color mirages in the middle of deserts of sand. Between one end and the famous water pools extends a part of the coastline whose salient feature  are the Matte of Oceanic Poseidonia, the most significant marine of the Ionic  habitat.
